When I was 8 years old I was new to my school and I didn’t know anybody. I was at recess and started following this little girl around wanting to play with her. She walked along a piece of wood balancing herself and I followed behind her and she turned around and said I don’t want to play with you. My heart broke. This was my first feelings of rejection.
I look back at that time and months later a little girl I did not know invited me to her skating party and we became inseperable and still friends today. God knew what He was doing. If me and the first girl would have been friends it would not have been good because after watching her she was not very nice to her friends she would bully them and everything was about her. The one God placed in my life was a real friendship that lasted through boyfriends, trials, hurts, happiness, deaths, marriages and kids. I was able to lead her to Jesus as adults.
God knows exactly was he is doing. If somebody doesn’t want to be your friend trust that God has removed them for your protection. Trust the process.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
