In His Hands

Driving my child to school I look back in the rear view mirror and God shows me his trust as he sits in the back seat and I drive the car. He is holding his backpack playing his rubix cube and not paying attention to where I go just trusting me. Our children trust us with their life as it it should be. God handmade and designed them in our womb. Placed us all together for His plan and purpose. We were handpicked for them and they us. For all their seasons of life (baby to old) God has equipped us for them. We are to take care of them and teach them His word. Pray over them and stay close to God so He can guide us through. Then we let go when they are adults and trust we have done the best we can as the parents God helped us be with continued prayers. We trust the process and stay far enough away but close by so if they need our guidance or they need to just visit or talk on the phone to be in our presence we are there for them. A couple of years ago I said Mitch where is God can you feel Him and He said God is in your hands I feel Him in your hands. Wow that was a beautiful statement and such love that he felt God in his moms hands. He knows God is in his heart but he knows who will pray over him in an instant. This is how God wants to be to us also. That we can sit in the back seat and trust Him to drive this car and do our thing He has created us to do. We are in His hands He created us for Him and He is for Us. Just like my son trust me I should trust God. We should not worry because God loves us so much more than we love our children. That is amazing because as parents we love and will do anything for our children! Ill let Him take the wheel today and I’ll sit back and ride and let Him guide me with His hands.

“And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?

Jesus has restored and healed me from old to new. He touched and filled me with His presence and gave me a gift of healing of physical and emotional when I pray with others. A gift of teaching His words and seeing the beauty of how they relate to our lives and how we can learn to live in His freedom and presence no matter the circumstance at hand. I pray that you are blessed and healed through this blog.
